Text Box: CAMPING STAFF 2009 (Individuals interested in any of these positions should contact John Armstrong by email at jjarmstrong@mail.com)     Head Cook  Position will run from June 1, 2009 through July 31, 2009.  Responsibilities will be to ensure healthy and delicious meals to campers and guests.  Salary will be $300.00 per week depending on experience, plus room and meals.  Will be required to be on site the majority of the time, with a day off each week coordinated with the assistant cooks.  Will report to the Camp Manager/Program Director.   Duties: - Responsible, with approval of Manager/Director, for determining weekly and    weekend meal menu. - Responsible for ordering food for meals. - Responsible for supervising assistant cooks and the preparation of meals. - Responsible for keeping the kitchen area clean and the food safe.      Assistant Cook (need two individuals) Position will run from June 1, 2009 through July 31, 2009.  Responsibilities will be to ensure healthy and delicious meals to campers and guests.  Salary will be $200.00 per week depending on experience, plus room and meals.  Will be required to be on site the majority of the time, with a day off each week coordinated with the Head Cook.  Will report to the Head Cook.   Duties: - Responsible for assisting with the preparation of meals. - Responsible for assisting with keeping the kitchen area clean and the food safe.   Maintenance Person Position will run from June 1, 2009 through July 31, 2009.  Responsibilities will be to ensure safe grounds and buildings and the upkeep of the property.  Salary will be $300.00 per week depending on experience, plus room and meals.  Will be required to be on site the majority of the time.  Will report to the Camp Manager/Program Director.   Duties: - Responsible, coordinating with the Manager/Director, for ongoing maintenance of    grounds and buildings. - Responsible for keeping the grounds well kept including but not limited to mowing,       watering, cutting, weed-control, etc. - Responsible for working with work teams on special projects.   Head Counselor Position will run from June 1, 2009 through July 31, 2009.  Responsibilities will be to assist the Camp Manager/Program Director with preparing counselors for providing camping programs.  Lead campers in camp experience in ways that allow God’s Spirit to be present.  Salary will be $250.00 per week depending on experience, plus room and meals.  Will be required to be on site the majority of the time.  Will report to the Camp Manager/Program Director.   Duties:             - Responsible, with assistance of Manager/Director and counselors, for leading Bible               studies, devotions, crafts, activities, and evening camp fires.             - Responsible for being a good Christian role model for campers.             - Responsible, when no camps are being held, to assist Maintenance person with                projects around the camp property.   Counselor (need four individuals) Position will run from June 1, 2009 through July 31, 2009.  Responsibilities will be to assist the Camp Manager/Program Director and Head Counselor in providing camping programs.  Salary will be $200.00 per week depending on experience, plus room and meals.  Will be required to be on site the majority of the time.  Will report to the Camp Manager/Program Director.   Duties:             - Responsible, with assistance of Manager/Director and Head Counselor, for leading               Bible studies, devotions, crafts, activities, and evening camp fires.             - Responsible for being a good Christian role model for campers.             - Responsible, when no camps are being held, to assist Maintenance person with               projects around the camp property.
